Children Draw Pictures of Soldiers

A record-breaking number of 2.236 pictures from 150 schools, which is by one thousand more than in the previous year, was evaluated by the jury of the 12th Annual Drawing Competition “Children Draw Pictures of Soldiers”. The winner in the category “Younger Students” was Nikolas Matejčík from Krtovce. Alica Imrichová from Gelnica won second place and Erika Botošová from Šíd took home third place. Dominika Čorejová from Michalovce finished first in the category “Older Students”, followed by Lýdia Choraščáková from Novosad and Bianka Ivanková from Prešov. The competition was traditionally announced by the Chief of the General Staff of the AF SR in cooperation with the editorial office of Obrana monthly.
