Advisory team in Afghanistan

Having been assigned an operational task, the second advisory team co-operating with the Afghan security forces MSF SFAT (Mobile Strike Force Security Forces Advisory Team) has started to operate. Under the lead of Commander Lt Col Peter Michlík, the unit took over the work of their colleagues from the first MSF SFAT.
The Slovak advisors and their partners from the Afghan armed forces started the intensive preparation, taking form of courses and training. The staff advisors focus on the planning of and assistance with the daily routine and day-to-day staff work. The second SFAT, which had been deployed by the SVK Armed Forces to ISAF within the 22nd rotation, is composed of 48 professional soldiers. Their task is to prepare the members of the MSF (Mobile Strike Force) of the Afghan National Army for engagement with adversary.
