Remembrance ceremony in Zlatno on the occasion of the upcoming 70th anniversary of the Slovak National Uprising

Miloš Koterec, State Secretary of the SVK Ministry of Defence, visited the village of Zlatno to participate in a remembrance ceremony on the occasion of the upcoming 70th anniversary of the Slovak National Uprising. To mark the SNU, for the past 26 years the village has hosted a march, entitled the “Zlatno – Skýcov Partisan Education Trail”. Miloš Koterec then joined Prime Minister Robert Fico in paying a tribute to the memory of the SNU atop Jankov Vŕšok Hill over the village of Uhrovec, the place where the Ján Žižka Partisan Brigade was operating during WWII.
