Anniversary of Military Police commemorated in Trenčín

In Trenčín, a muster ceremony was held to commemorate the twenty fourth anniversary of the establishment of Military Police. Director of Military Police Col Milan Hamar awarded medals for excellent performance of tasks on the Slovak territory and in deployed operations. Among those awarded was also Sgt 1st Class Jozef Kmeť, who became the best non-commissioned officer of Military Police of the year 2014. As a part of the ceremony was a film premiere of a documentary film by Capt Peter Ga||raj about Military Police. Lt Gen Milan Maxim awarded Col Milan Hamar with a Badge of Chief of the General Staff of the SVK Armed Forces, 2nd Grade, for a job well done and for good cooperation between Military Police and SVK Armed Forces. The other members of Military Police were presented with Commemorative Medals of SVK Minister of Defence, 3rd Grade.
