Congratulations of Minister of Defence to Veronika Zuzulová

Martin Glváč congratulated the skier Veronika Valez Zuzulová on her best senior result in the World Championship in Beaver Creek, the US. On Saturday, the sportswoman from the Military Sport Centre Dukla Banská Bystrica ended fourth in slalom, which is an excellent placing, and she was within striking distance of podium when she narrowly missed out on a medal.
“Veronika was fantastic and it’s a shame that despite posting the quickest second run time she would not stand on the podium. Still we can be proud of how she represented our Military Sport Centre and Slovakia,“said Head of the Defence Department.
Veronika Velez Zuzulova is the World Junior Slalom Champion 2001. At the World Senior Championship 2013 in Schladming, Austria, she placed seventh.
