Multitudinous course in Martin

A course for professional soldiers with the largest number of participants continues running in the Martin-based Training Battalion. On 12 January, the course was joined by 192 soldier trainees in the preparatory state service, and at present, there are 188 soldier trainee attendants, of whom 22 are women. Almost all the women are intended to obtain basic positions, mainly in mechanized units. Due to bad social situation, large numbers of university graduates are joining the Armed Forces, though they can obtain only basic positions which do not require such kind of education. The current basic training has been noticeably influenced by poor physical condition of the young generation. Therefore, the Martin-based Battalion strives to motivate the course attendants. The current test has indicated a slight improvement.
