In memory of Milan Rastislav Štefánik

SVK Minister of Defense Martin Glváč attended a commemorative ceremony on top of Hill Bradlo, dedicated to the memory of Milan Rastislav Štefánik. Gen Štefánik, one of the most significant figures of Slovak history, lost his life in a tragic accident near the village of Ivanka pri Dunaji 96 years ago. “I am very pleased to see so many young people at the Bradlo Memorial commemorating each year this outstanding figure of our history, his work and role in the creation of the Czechoslovak Republic. Milan Rastislav Štefánik is one of those personalities we can be justly proud of,” said the Minister.
