P. Gajdoš: It is truly great that Slovakia has a second Olympic silver medal, and once again thanks to our Nastya and Dukla

On behalf of the entire MOD, SVK Minister of Defence Peter Gajdoš congratulated Anastasiya Kuzmina on her second silver medal for Olympic Biathlon – Women’s 15km Individual at this year’s Winter Olympics. Slovakia is happy with the medal and feels grateful to the member of the Military Sports Centre Dukla Banská Bystrica. Another Dukla Sports Centre member, Paulína Fialková, won an excellent 5th place.
“I could not have received a better piece of news after the meeting of NATO Defence Ministers in Brussels. It is truly great that Slovakia has a second medal, and once again thanks to our Nastya and our Dukla. And our younger contestant, Paulína Fialková, gave an excellent performance too, though it was not enough for a medal. Certainly, we can look forward to her winning medals in the future,” said Head of the MOD.
