MOD update on movements of military convoys across Slovakia

The SVK MOD wishes to inform the drivers in Slovakia about the upcoming Allied military movements, scheduled from 26 Feb –4 Mar 2018. A total of 27 Allied road moves will take place across Slovakia over the period. They will mainly involve POL troops transporting materiel, U.S. Army convoys, and CZE troops en route to TC Lešt for a training exercise. This week will also see SVK military round trip convoys with oversize cargo of equipment along the routes: Prešov – Martin – Valaškovce; Prešov – Trenčín – Nemecká; and Sereď – Nemecká.
