Airmen are once again helping to extinguish a forest fire

The SVK Armed Forces are once again helping to extinguish a forest fire. Based on a request for firefighting assistance from the Firefighting and Rescue Corps, this time airmen of the Transport Wing Kuchyňa are helping to put out a forest fire between the villages of Malacky and Pernek. To deal with the situation, the Firefighting Unit, of the Transport Wing Kuchyňa, has deployed to the area.
Just yesterday, airmen were called upon to fight a forest fire in the cadastral area of the village of Kravany in the Poprad region. The Firefighting and Rescue Corps requested that a SVK Air Force helicopter, of the Helicopter Wing Prešov, equipped with the Bumbi bucket, be deployed to assist with firefighting efforts in the area.
The SVK Armed Forces are ready to deploy their units in support of SVK citizens uninterruptedly.
