23-year-old lieutenant dies in a tragic incident at Armed Forces Academy

A tragic incident occurred at 22.00pm on 13 May 2019 at the General Milan Rastislav Štefánik Armed Forces Academy (AOS) in Liptovský Mikuláš. A 23-year-old lieutenant, Jakub L., fell off the balcony of his apartment on the 4th floor and died on the spot of his injuries. His family was informed of the tragedy. Leaders of the MOD and AOS offer their sincere condolences to the family. No other information can be released until the investigation into the incident by the criminal investigation authorities has been concluded.
