Military chaplains attend international conference on Štefánik phenomenon

The Štefánik Phenomenon Conference, organised by the Central Office of Ecumenical Pastoral Service in the Armed Forces and Armed Corps (ÚEPS) in cooperation with the SVK MOD, was convened on 13-14 May 2019 in Myjava on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of General M. R. Štefánik’s death.
Speaking after the conference, Chaplain General of the ÚEPS Colonel Marian Bodolló said: “The conference programme also featured a meeting of V4 and NATO military chaplains, with focus on the role and tasks of military chaplains on international crisis management operations.”
As part of the conference, participants visited the M. R. Štefánik Museum in Košariská and walked up to the Tomb of General M. R. Štefánik on Bradlo Hill.
