The Ministry of Defence will recommend that the Slovak Government sign a Government-to-Government (G2G) agreement for procurement of 17 3D RL medium, short and very short range radar systems with the State of Israel. This proposal will now pass through inter-ministerial consultation.
The said conclusion has been drawn by a 35-member project team consisting of specialists from the Slovak Armed Forces and the Modernization Department, SVK MOD. According to their recommendation, the proposed solution is the most advantageous offer in terms of price, quality, and connectivity options for national and NATO command and control systems as worked out by the NATO Communications and Information (NCI) Agency.
More information on the 3D radars replacement process will be provided by the MOD as soon as the proposal document has been approved by the Security Council and the Government.
