MOD launches new version of its website

The SVK Ministry of Defence today launched a new version of its website. The last time the website was redesigned was in 2011, in other words, over 8 years ago. The MOD is aware that it needs to keep up with the times, so the new website brings more photo reports and videos that map out events across Defence.
While the website’s previous version was not fully compatible with mobile devices, the new version fully supports them. It was designed to make all information searches easier, clearer, and simpler. The new website also features an active calendar of events, which should be a matter of course today, however, this feature was missing on the previous website.
The redesign of the website was subject to fair competitive bidding and the contract is publically available in the Central Registry of Contracts as the Government’s Contracts Finder is known in Slovakia.
