MOD provides military psychologists for the surviving next of kin of the road crash victims

The MOD has made its military psychologists of the Psychological Intervention Team available to the surviving next of kin of the victims who died in a road traffic accident involving a bus and a lorry at the village of Nitrianske Hrnčiarovce today (13 November 2019). Based on a request from the Regional Road Traffic Inspectorate Nitra, military policemen are also assisting in regulating local traffic. “If there are any other requests for military personnel or equipment, we are ready to help immediately. We are absolutely committed to supporting the Interior Ministry and the Rescue Services,” said Defence Minister Peter Gajdoš at the scene of the road accident.
