Peter Kozák to take over as new Secretary General of MOD Service Office

Peter Kozák is to take over as the new Secretary General of the Service Office of the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic on Thursday 26 March 2020. On the recommendation of Defence Minister Jaroslav Naď, he was today appointed to the role by the SVK Cabinet. Secretary General Ján Hoľko was dismissed from his post with effect from today (25 March 2020).
Peter Kozák has, until recently, worked as Director of the Legislation Branch at the SVK Ministry of Environment. Earlier in the past, he worked for 7 years in the Ministry of Defence, mostly in the field of legal services. The new Secretary General pursued legal studies, completed the 3rd level of university education, and was awarded his PhD in International Law. He is a member of the Slovak Society of International Law (SSIL) at the Slovak Academy of Sciences.
