Ministry of Defence issues traffic warning over scheduled military movements across Slovakia

The MOD has issued a traffic warning to local motorists as 7 Allied road movements involving US, Hungarian, Polish and Romanian troops are scheduled to take place across Slovakia from 12 to 18 October 2020. The MOD stresses that the movements have been approved in line with SVK Public Health Authority-issued guidance. Over the same period, the SVK Armed Forces will conduct convoy operations from Sliač to Martin and from Rašov to Sklené. Also scheduled are SVK Armed Forces rail movements from Kuchyňa to Zemianske Kostoľany and from Prešov to Michalovce.
