Guidance on testing residents for COVID-19 in Orava and Bardejov

As part of its guidance on testing the residents of Orava and Bardejov for COVID-19, the Ministry of Defence announces that if too many people turn up for testing at the testing site, they are advised to return later to avoid any gathering or waiting in large numbers.
 

To handle the influx of people for testing at the testing sites, the Ministry of Defence recommends that local residents come to the testing sites according to the alphabetical order of their surnames as follows:
 

- surnames beginning with A, B, C, D from 08:00 to 10:00,

- surnames beginning with E, F, G, H from 10:00 to 12:00,

- surnames beginning with CH, I , J, K from 12:00 – 14:00,

- surnames beginning with L, M, N, O from 14:00 – 16:00,

- surnames beginning with P, R, S from 16:00 – 18:00,

- surnames beginning with T, U, V, X, Y, Z from 18:00 – 20:00.
 

Local self-government authorities are allowed to adjust their timescales.

The website also contains a COVID-19 test instructional video and a registration form for volunteers to sign up to help. Information updates on the trial mass testing of the Slovak population for COVID-19 will be published continually.
