Friday sees highest number of tests in Bardejov, most infectious cases are in Tvrdošín district

The official number of all people tested yesterday stood at 61,905, with the highest number of people turning up for testing in Bardejov district and the highest number of those infected with coronavirus in Tvrdošín district.
 

In Tvrdošín district, 524 were identified as infectious of all 10,166 people tested. When it comes to the percentage of positive cases out of the total people tested, the latest data shows a positivity rate of 5.15%.
 

Námestovo, the largest district in Orava, recorded the second highest occurrence of infectious cases. Local test data shows that of all 17,711 people tested, 829 cases were confirmed positive, with a 4.68% positivity rate.
 

Dolný Kubín saw 14,624 people tested, with 338 positive cases and a positivity rate of 2.31%.
 

In Bardejov district, 534 were identified as infectious cases of all 19,404 people tested, with a 2.75% positivity rate.
