Ministry of Defence issues traffic warning over scheduled military movements across Slovakia

The MOD has issued a traffic warning to motorists as 28 Allied road movements are scheduled to take place across Slovakia from 21 to 27 February 2022. The MOD stresses that the Allied transit movements have been approved in line with the SVK Public Health Authority-issued coronavirus safety guidelines.
Over the same period, the SVK military will conduct road movements from/to: Dubnica nad Váhom – Martin, Prešov – Michalovce, Sliač – Moldava nad Bodvou, Michalovce – Lešť, Prešov – Trebišov, Poprad – Martin and back, Trebišov – Poprad, Močiar – Martin and back, Mierovo – Sliač, Poprad – Nemšová and back, Sliač – Zvolen, Zvolen – Mierovo, Poprad – Prešov, Piešťany – Prešov, Nitra – Piešťany, Prešov – Nitra, Banská Bystrica – Prešov and back, Levice – Zemianske Kostoľany and back, Trenčín – Zemianske Kostoľany and back, Kuchyňa – Zemianske Kostoľany and back, and within the city of Trebišova.
Also planned for next week are the following SVK military rail movements from/to: Levice – Sása-Pliešovce and Zemianske Kostoľany – Kuchyňa.
