Cooperation with Private Secondary Technical School Exnárova 20, Bratislava – Ružinov has the potential to contribute to MOD efforts to modernise SVK Air Force

Open Doors Day at Private Secondary Technical School Exnárova 20, Bratislava - Ružinov (SSOŠ Ružinov), which is aimed at promoting the technical study programmes to be opened in the 2019/2020 school term, has attracted the Slovak Armed Forces. Thanks to the technical specialties taught at SSOŠ Ružinov, graduates are qualified to find employment with the SVK Armed Forces.
In the context of its efforts to modernise the SVK Air Force and manning needs, the MOD welcomes the Aircraft Technician – Mechanics study programme. This is also a reason why representatives of the SVK Air Force joined with the Army Recruitment Team Bratislava to present the general aspects of the military profession and the specifics of active duty service in the SVK Air Force to future graduates.
Given that the graduateʼs profile of the Aircraft Technician – Mechanics study programme reflects the needs of military aviation, graduates are immediately eligible for appointments to technical positions in the SVK Air Force. Yet another option for the school graduates is to pursue their studies at the M. R. Štefánik Armed Forces Academy (AOS) in Liptovský Mikuláš, which has been educating and training pilots, air traffic controllers and aircraft technicians in close cooperation with the Aviation Faculty of the Technical University in Košice (LF TUKE) for the past three academic years.
